Festive Wreath Making Coming to Lilleshall
Lilleshall House will soon be transformed into a Winter Wonderland is we welcome our festive programme.
With Christmas Parties and Lunch with Santa coming – it promises to be another Christmas cracker in Shropshire. One of our most popular festive activities is our Christmas Crafting classes – led by the fantastic Nigel Whyles.
With over 30 years of experience and an impressive career that has taken him across the UK and overseas, Nigel brings a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and festive cheer to every event. His expertise have been recognised at some of the most prestigious horticultural events, including a Silver Gilt Medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, along with accolades from the RHS Harrogate Spring Show, NAFAS National Shows, and Shrewsbury Flower Show.
Nigel will be bringing all of that experience to Lilleshall, and will be leading Wreath Making sessions on Thursday 20th November, Monday 24th November and Monday 1st December. If you’re looking for that wow-factor on Christmas Day, you can join us for a centrepiece making session on Wednesday 17th December.
What to Expect at the Workshop
Nigel’s wreath-making sessions are designed to be fun, festive, and suitable for all abilities. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or a complete beginner, you’ll leave with a beautiful handmade wreath to decorate your home for Christmas.
All materials are provided, including:
- Wet oasis wreath ring
- Selection of seasonal foliage
- Pine cones, cinnamon sticks, and wires
- A choice of ribbon for your bow
If you’d like to personalise your wreath, you’re also welcome to bring your own decorations.
The workshop begins with a step-by-step demonstration, showing you how to create the base, decorate with seasonal items, and finish with a bow. Afterwards, you’ll have the chance to craft your own unique design, with Nigel on hand to guide, inspire, and support you throughout.
